how does junk removal pricing work?
Junk removal pricing isn’t one-size-fits-all. But, I understand the importance of providing a quick price. Every junk removal company generally bases their prices on the same three factors: accessibility, weight, & volume. Explained down below!
We are a local, student-run business. That means low overhead costs, no hourly employees dragging their feet, and no hidden fees.
We take pride in being honest and competitively priced, while providing the personal care and respect you won’t get from the big guys. Just send me some photos and accessibility details, and I will get back to you with a price and availability asap!
1.
accessibility

Having easy access to your items will help keep costs low. Hard-to-reach places like basements and attics may require more time & labor.
For example, picking up a piece of furniture from your driveway is less expensive then collecting constructing debris 60 feet away from parking. Each project is unique and priced accordingly.
We're happy to make the process as easy as possible for you!
weight
2.

Are your items bound for the dump, recycling plant, environmental depot, charity, wood depot, or scrapyard? Dump fees are based on weight, meaning heavier items will inevitably cost more.
Additionally, some items have extra disposal fees. For example, mattresses are $45 each, couches range from $25 to $80, recliners are $15, and so on. Items like paint cans, electronics, and batteries require an appointment and must be taken to the Environmental Depot.
I sort all items for proper disposal and factor all fees into my estimate!
volume
3.

Yeah, size matters… a little.
Volume refers to how much space your stuff takes up in the truck, but pricing this way can be tricky.
Truck sizes vary greatly between companies, making it hard to compare prices based on a “truckload.” Plus, leftover junk, inefficient packing, or companies quoting a larger load than necessary can make it deceptive.
To be more efficient, we use a larger capacity than most, and to keep things fair, we don’t rely on volume as our main pricing factor.
Just send me a few photos and details about accessibility, and I’ll give you an honest, upfront quote!
